I've been studying how to be a better marketer in my businesses recently and here's what I've learned so far:
1. Marketing is not about promoting what your thing is, marketing is about promoting valuable information that would attract the kind of person who would want or need what your thing is.
2. A sale isn't made until a conversation is started. Marketers need to focus on creating conversations, NOT leads. Conversations create revenue!
