This is a new segment I am adding to the show since I have not been able to do my Saturday show.

Restoring a WordPress website after a crash/hack or some other catastrophic event can be a challenge if you do not have a solid backup plan. It seems in the last week I have seen several articles discussing this issue and talking about what type of backup you should have.

Most people discover way too late that their hosting provider is not obligated to create and store backups of their sites, as discovered by A2 hosting customers recently, some do but many times these backups are weeks or even months old. They may also be corrupted. You need a plan in place where you are backing up your site regularly off server. Or you need a service that does it for you.
