Most majority world cultures are deeply steeped in the cultural values of honor and shame. These values drive people’s thinking, their behavior, and are at the core of their worldview. Some of these values find their root in the local culture, while some are actually Kingdom values that still exist in honor and shame cultures. In this interview, Gaby Phillips, Adventist Muslim Relations Director for the North American Division, talks to Dr. Philip Samaan, retired professor from Southern Adventist University and a prolific author.
