Owen Turner is the founder and creative director of United by Design, a design and branding agency. He is a co-founder of York Design Week, which is coming up soon on the 26th October, for the second year running, and is someone who has been actively engaged with York’s creative community for years.

He continues to invest in the city, the region and the creative sector, as well as representing United by Design, having recently become deputy Master of the Guild of Media Arts. 

In this episode we chat about the reality of running a creative business, the pressures and payoffs of developing a team to work with, we talk about what Owen looks for in great design, and how York as a city is supporting its creative community.
