We are not meant to be alone on this earth. God provided us with the Holy Spirit, God within us, so that we are able to constantly walk with God. When we have nothing to say but want to pray, He utters on our behalf. But we also were not meant to live without human companionship: friends.
Whether you are a loner or the poster child for extroverts, having at least one solid friend that you can count on and have fellowship with is part of how we are created. At least when Adam and Eve were kicked out of Eden they had each other! The separation from God was awful though. But that is something that we do not have to worry about if we have put our trust in Jesus. Because of Him, we have the Holy Spirit, Who is our bridge to God. Thanks to Jesus, we are righteous in God's eyes and no longer separated.
