After one of their own was struck down, the Crusaders find themselves suspended by the power of the Wardstone. As they walk through their own ethereal realities, they learn their future purpose and further mysteries are revealed to each. However, the fight for Kenabres is not yet won, they must still defeat an emissary that has come from the Abyss itself.
