In this sermon preached at Overflow Church in Benton Harbor, MI, on 1/22/23, Dan reveals how the promise of the Holy Spirit is just as essential to Christianity as the promise of the Messiah. Without the Holy Spirit, there is not transformation, no passion for Jesus, no power, no life. Jesus paid a price for us to have full communion with God, and the Holy Spirit is the down payment of that great inheritance. The Holy Spirit is essential and we can't live the Christian life without Him. At the end we talk about a simple way to begin our journey with the Holy Spirit.
