Sherry Turkle is Professor of the Social Studies of Science and Technology at MIT. She examines the relationship between people and technology and the effects that technology has on society. She is the author of six books, among them The Empathy Diaries, a memoir about her childhood and how she came to her profession. We had a most fascinating conversation. Enjoy!
