She’s been making waves in the biking world since beginning her professional athlete career just a few short years ago in 2018— winning 2 Queen of Crankworx awards and 3 DH National Championships. Vaea received her diploma in sports marketing and management in 2012 and then decided to turn her passion for sports into a career by pursuing professional mountain biking. What makes her story even more impressive? Vaea didn’t even discover mountain biking until she was 17!
