Today I am interviewing Paul Unwin who is the Smart Motorways Programme Regional Lead Sponsor in the UK.

Paul shares his passion for developing emerging leaders in his organisation, and how this so resonates for him in trying to unlock the potential of individuals. Paul explains how he goes about this, using mentoring as the fundamental building block of support, where he not only speaks into their role and leaderships but allows them to shadow him in various contexts to watch, learn and get involved. He encourages them to freely contribute their ideas, and provides a safe environment for this, along with signposting and helping them to build a network for themselves.
