Jena Nelson has devoted her career to teaching the arts in public schools. After overcoming abuse and poverty as a child, she decided to pay it forward through her work with children in the school system. As the 2020 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year, Jena has found her voice in advocating for the power of teachers and public education.
