As an Independent Artist I found stage time anywhere I could; bars and cafes from Street Performing to actually getting a "5 minute" comedy set at Cobbs in San Francisco. My take on a couple of my favorite Hip-Hop artists out right now

who have adapted an artform that is coming up on 50 years since DJ KOOL HERC Created the merry go round with NO HEADPHONES and records that you had to know by heart. There wasnt no presets and digital queues where you can just press a button and the record is magically where you put it before rehearsals.
