On March 12, 2018 Craig Mack passed away at the age of 47. The famed Brentwood, New York MC was the first artist to release music on the then up-coming Bad Boy Records label; and with the release of his debut album, Project: Funk da World on September 20, 1994, Mack's "Flava in Ya Ear" became a much needed first success for Bad Boy and it's head Sean Combs. Mack's Project: Funk da World was made up of 11 tracks, 5 of which were produced by the legendary Easy Mo Bee. Here is The Library with Tim Einenkel's interview with Mo Bee about collaborating with Craig Mack and the important place that Craig Mack's music and persona had and still have in Hip Hop.
