How we train at the moment, and is there a better way?
These are the steps we get into with a new salesperson:
Day 1: Product Technicals
Day 2: Systems Technicals
Day 3/4/5: Sales Calls
Week 2, Solo with catch ups
Week 3, same as week 2z
I’ve just been doing a lot of thinking about whether there needs to be improvement in our methods, and have come to the conclusion that yes, there does.
I’ll cover why I arrived at this train of though and then decision, after some retrospection on previous training methods with our call centres, which started office based and moved to home based only after our salespeople were fully trained.
Also have been putting some mad hours into sales training asterisks, and have a lot of cool plans (well I think they are cool haha).
