Today's guest is Jana Michailidu, advisor to the Czech Ministry of Justice on addiction policy and a researcher at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague. January 1st 2026 multiple drug policy reforms will come into action in the Czech Republic, including regulation of homegrown cannabis, regulated sale of kratom and psilocybin regulated for medical use in therapy. In the episode we talk about these new regulations, how and why they came into place, as well as what the future may hold.
