Hello Beautiful Shining Souls 💫

I am Control is an illusion.  It pains me to say that, but it's true.  It's taken me too many years to come to the realization that in order to live a happier life, I need to loosen my need to be in control.

Our habits, beliefs and actions usually stem from childhood.  I have very little stability in my life as a kid- no fault to the adults in my life.  My parents and the other adults did the best they culd with what they had.  They provided love & support in the ways they new how.

As I grew up, with the responsibility of helping take care of my younger brother- the need to be constant control took over.  

Did I mention I am also a Taurus...sun & moon and rising...so to say I am stubborn is an understatement (just ask my family!).

In my desperation to control something, I was challenged with another valuable life lesson...let go.

This is a funny episode where I share the story of how determined I was to take down our pool, the same pool it took 5 adults (3 grown men plus Colin & I) to put together.
