Fir’awn’s elite minions continued to advise him to do the wrong thing. They made the truth seem abhorrent to him and urged him to continue his persecution of Bani Isra’il.

Even Musa was threatened. His young followers were diligently supporting the truth, but the older people of his tribe did not believe in him out of fear. Eventually, he told Fir’awn to leave them alone if he was not going to believe.
