In this episode I sit down a long time friend in Michal Matson and catch up about life. It was crazy comparing journeys through High Performance Sport and how similar our experiences were. 

Mikey first picked up a tennis racket at the age of 5 and put it down at age 22 mainly due to self doubt. 17 years of playing a sport that consumed her whole being and when things didn't work out - things started to crumble. Sound familiar?

Loss in confidence and placing an extreme amount of pressure on herself lead her to fall out of love with the game she grew up playing.
