The story is about Shakuni, a mastermind behind the infamous game of dice which led to the exile of the Pandavas. In this tale, Shakuni invites the Pandavas to Hastinapur for a friendly game of gambling with Yudhishthira. However, little do the Pandavas know that Shakuni has rigged the game in his favor, using his magical dice to ensure that Yudhishthira loses everything. The game ends with Yudhishthira losing all his wealth, his kingdom, and even his wife, Draupadi. This story sets the stage for the events that unfold in the Mahabharata, leading to a war between the Pandavas and the Kauravas.
