Polly is the first canonical victim of Jack the Ripper. She also lived a full and complex life; one that probably resonates with a lot of people even now. She also never appeared to engage in any form of sex work, but the assumption that she did marred not only her investigation but investigations of further victims. 

Polly's story was taken from her twice. First by her murderer, and again by the investigation, coroner's inquest, and everyone else who reported a simplified and fabricated version of her story. We hope to help restore some of her truth.
