Watching the Adele interview with Oprah was great! But, there was one tough lesson I pulled out of her time in the chair. As she shared her weight loss journey, she also shared that there were people who turned against her for losing weight. Some said, "She doesn't love herself." Others asked, "Why did she feel the need to change?"
My question was, "Why does she have to stay the same?" That is when I realized that many people prefer the old version of you. It is more palatable and makes them feel better. But, the old you is oftentimes detrimental to who you are called to be. So, will you choose to elevate with your purpose or keep those around you comfortable? We dive into this topic in today's episode.
