Our guest preacher, Rev. Bill Gupton, is the president and founder of Heritage Acres Memorial Sanctuary in Cincinnati, Ohio. Heritage Acres is the area’s only fully dedicated natural (“green”) burial ground. It is also a nature preserve and arboretum. We often consider our “carbon footprint” when making lifestyle choices. But what about our “final footprint,” when making end-of-life choices? What will be the environmental impact of our death? Natural burial offers an option that is both earth friendly and “death positive.”
