Cathy Lu is the illustrator and author of ABCs for the American Born Chinese, an alphabet book featuring Asian fruits, vegetables, and other foods, from A is for Asian Pear to Z is for Zongzi. She is also a full-time software engineer and works to balance both her career and artistic and creative hobbies. In this episode, we talk about her journey creating this children’s book.
