In this episode of the FuturePrint podcast Frazer Chesterman is joined by Benji Ruhm, Chief Technology Officer at BOBST. The pair discuss Benji’s career and what he finds so ‘magical’ about digital printing. Benji has worked in the ink industry since 2000, in product development roles at Landa and Scodix, now leading the transformation of digital printing at BOBST.

Benji talks to Frazer about how he came to realise the potential of inkjet. He knew the digital technology was revolutionary, but predicted a lot of time needing to be invested. This episode covers that investment and takes a deep dive into BOBST’s unique approach to digitalising every part of the process from printing to finishing to scanning; the technology they’re using, and their mission to preserve the planet.
