Late one Friday after noon, I got an email asking if I would be interested in interviewing Philip H. Anslemo on Monday afternoon. It was a rare opening in his schedule, so I didn’t hesitate. Normally, I like to have time to prepare and do research, but I am also a big fan of rising to the occasion. Also, what research is required for a guy like Phil Anselmo? He has an impressive back catalog and one of the most prolific artists working in extreme music today.
The interview was short and sweet and done over a phone, but I think we covered a lot of cool stuff, especially his newest endeavor En Minor.
Intro: “Broken
Outro: “On the Floor”
