proper return setting for proper circulation, eliminating dead spots in pools, algae does not like moving water, adjust jets slightly down, turn pool clockwise or counter clockwise, recommended pool turnover, residential poo should turn over two times per day minimum, different size pumps move different amounts of water, know how much water your pool pump moves and know the volume of water in your pool, the more pool turnover the better, pool clarifiers, pool enzymes, filter fiber, thorough backwash cycles, run longer filter cycles, properly size filter for pump, pool pressure will vary from pool to pool, know your clean filter pressure, if pressure is lower that means there is a restriction in circulation on the suction side, higher typically means that the filter is dirty
