REMORANDOM Everything Interesting

44: Special Guest | James De Vries, Design Thinker

Listen Later

In this episode Remo and Claudia are joined by Sydney-based design thinker James De Vries in a chat about communications design – and how, despite the ever-evolving media landscape, it all ultimately comes down to the art and craft of storytelling. James has had a lot of experience designing a range of newspapers and magazines both in Australia and Asia. He also worked at Harvard Business Review from 2011 to 2017 as the Creative Director charged with the task of modernising their entire media portfolio – AND he was also an early design collaborator with Remo. His name is still attached to many of the most iconic REMO T-shirt designs.

About REMO

REMO was founded as a General Store in Sydney in 1988, and was famous for its mail order catalogues. Those catalogues were the inspiration for REMORANDOM, but this new leg of the REMO journey is not so much about selling THINGS, as it is about telling STORIES … in celebration of what’s interesting. Inspiring curious minds.
