After being diagnosed with stage 4 chronic lymphocytic leukemia in 2007, Baltimore native Craig Willinger got to see his beloved Bayern Munich play in Germany thanks to the generosity of local soccer fans. He was determined to bring that same joy to others facing serious medical conditions. Although Craig passed away in 2012, his quest lives on through the Baltimore-based nonprofit named for him.
