We are in an epidemic of anxiety and depression. Nothing seems to work. The bible says, "Blessed is he whose sin is forgiven, whose sin is covered." An awful lot of anxiety and depression result from unresolved guilt. See what David, the writer of many Psalms, found was the pathway to freedom.
