“Prayer is key to developing a heart of compassion.” - @eugeneseow12
We had the privilege of having Eugene Seow with us at service, for week three of the “Caught Up in God’s Story” series.
Sharing from Matthew 9:36, Eugene spoke about the compassion Jesus had for the multitudes, and Jesus’ call for harvesters even as the harvest is plentiful.
Yet, the biggest hurdle holding the church back from reaching out to the lost is compassion. Developing Jesus’ heart of compassion requires us to:
1. Open our eyes to see the crowd
2. Open our hands to meet their needs and
3. Open our hearts to ask God to grant us His heart for the lost
We hope you were blessed and inspired by the word to take decisive action and pray into how we may meet the needs of the communities around us as the body of Christ.
