Dave Schuler...After high school, I joined the Marine Corp, and after being honorably discharged, I found myself living in the greater Phoenix, AZ area with a new wife and son. Life got hectic and it seemed that the closest that I got to anything outdoors related was watching Bill Dance on TV.

Luckily, I could get back to Kentucky every summer and get back it for a week or two.

Fast forward a decade or so, a good friend of mine got drawn for archery elk in northern Arizona, and as a wedding gift, invited me to go along. Needless to say, this "pulled the trigger" and reignited my passion for the outdoors once again. I pulled some money together, got a bow and haven't looked back since.

This past year, I bagged my first late rifle bull elk in northern Arizona on my first ever tag.

My love for hunting took some time off but know I am so passionate about the sport that its on my mind 24/7
