45. Ethical AI, Moral Code, and Continuous Learning in Technical Careers with Lois Melbourne
What would you do if you could create AI that could do anything? How would we possibly create the ethics around artificial intelligence when people don't always agree on what is moral and what isn't? On this weeks episode, Lexi and Libby had the pleasure of speaking with author and entrepreneur Lois Melbourne. Lois speaks to the accomplishes in her career and the recent launch of her new book, Moral Code. Moral Code is a sci-fi featuring a woman as the main character. This book questions the boundaries of defining morality intersecting the complexity of artificial intelligence in a futuristic setting. In addition to exploring the topics Moral Code covers, this episode is also packed with insight into the process of writing a book and the importance of featuring woman in STEM in media.
All the proceeds from this book are going to incredible organizations supporting abused kids.
