How many of you have passed up the opportunity to apply for a job because you disqualified yourself after reading the job description? We have all done it at some point. We read the job description and think there is no way they would consider us for this position. We come up with excuse after excuse (usually all made up in our head). But here’s the truth: you are what you speak. If you feel like you qualify for a job but are  unsure because of the description, reach out and ask for clarification. You never know, it could help you get #hired! 

In this episode, Samantha talks about how she inquired after a position that she wasn’t too confident about securing due to her location and ended up landing it.
