About my guest:
Richard Pitt is a homeopath, writer, and educator with more than 30 years of experience practicing and teaching homeopathy across the U.K., United States, Africa, and Asia. He spent 12 years as director of a homeopathy school in San Francisco, taught widely throughout North America, and played active roles in several professional organizations, including the Council for Homeopathic Certification, the California Health Freedom Coalition, and the California Homeopathic Medical Society—where he also served as editor of The California Homeopath for eight years. Richard is the author of multiple books, including two homeopathic travel guides and Tobacco: An Exploration of its Nature Through the Prism of Homeopathy, developed from his extensive work coordinating provings of remedies such as Pacific Yew, Bristlecone Pine, Petroleum, and Nicotiana Rustica. His textbook Comparative Materia Medica: Integrating New and Old Remedies reflects his commitment to expanding and structuring modern homeopathic knowledge.
Richard spent over eight years living and working in several African countries, including Ghana, Malawi, and Kenya, where he served as Educational Director of the Kenya School for Integrated Medicine and led an EU-funded public health project with the Kenyan Ministry of Health. His work focused on community health research, rural outreach clinics, and innovative health-data collection methods. He also collaborated with the Swaziland Homeopathy Project and has traveled extensively throughout India and Asia. Now based between Spain and the U.K., he continues his homeopathic practice online, consults with practitioners worldwide, and is currently writing a Therapeutic Guide to Homeopathic Medicine grounded in his clinical experience in rural African communities.
