Emerging out of a power-challenged situation, we FINALLY post a Hoagie Mouth episode.  A shorter one, and one that took a while to turn around.  Since our host Jeff lost power for almost a week.  If you squint your ears, you can hear the generator in the background which allows this episode to exist!  We jump right into the Phillies - who, at the time of the recording, were riding high off another strong performance from Zach Wheeler.  And we don't care that it took only 7 innings to call it a game.  It's funny when we reference games that happened a week ago.  And then we move into the Sixers - we reference Ben leaving the game,  prior him to undergoing season ending surgery - and hope that they can ride Embiid's success into a bigger streak.  And lo and behold - we presage the Flyers and their streak through the round robin.  Here's to the #1 seeded HOCKEY SQUAD!  Email:  [email protected]  Twitter:  @hoagiemouthpod
