How do you feel when you are hungry? Tired? Overworked? Immediately, we usually want to react. However, sitting back to first understand your emotions and then respond is usually much more effective. Don’t hold these emotions in. Have a good conversation with someone who is willing to listen and give feedback. When someone comes to you and is emotional, work to understand their situation.
