Portobello Mushrooms – Lots of Nutrients! Who Knew?
Good Day Weight Loss Nation!
Today, I’m speaking about mushrooms. Not just any mushroom, I’m going to be speaking about the big, the meaty Portobello Mushroom!
You can’t miss Portobello Mushrooms! They are the large with tan to brown caps, with a dark underbelly and thick white stems.
They are mature “Baby Cremini” mushrooms and are also related to the common “white” Button Mushrooms.
Portobello Mushrooms are cultivated in more than 70 countries, and the immature “white” button mushroom is the most commonly eaten mushroom in the world.
You’ll find button mushroom in fields and grassy areas, especially after rain.
Portobello Mushrooms are one of the few “Natural” food sources of Vitamin D, with the amount of Vitamin D depending on their exposure to ultra-violet light.
