We’ve got a few things on the go at once, and with our size, dividing our efforts amount them all is quite a challenge and to some degree we may be doing a few things okey, rather than one or two things really well. We’ve got 3 new people who’ve just started, 2 in sales and 1 in customer success, we are testing Facebook marketing, testing the work from home method direct from onboarding (which we haven’t done in the past, we had trained people up first in the office for a few months before moving to home based), we are taking leads in multiple states at the same time, and we have a relatively new price point that’s only been tested over a small sample size and we are still honing that.
We’ve decided to reduce our exposure and bring it back to just a couple of things at once, by pausing our Facebook marketing team and we’ve let go of one of the new salespeople we hired who was not fully congruent (that was about listening to red flags that we had ignored from our intuition about him earlier) since downsizing our outlay, we feel a bit more relieved and focused. We are now able to put all of our efforts into the offer, getting our salesperson up to speed and allow Shane and I to go out and top up the bank, and our pockets.
Plans to do one day of calls each with our salesman to help set him up with sales which will guarantee sales coming through as well as train him at the same time, aswell as turning on our Facebook lead generator which invites people to message us to get some info/quote, which we know is profitable, combing that with a little bit of door knocking and then we can work on the Facebook marketing again a bit down the track!
