During today's conversation on Scripture & Story, we are continuing in our series on the book of Isaiah!

Today we cover Isaiah 5-8, which is week 2 in your study called A Holy God. This week you read one of the most well-known chapters in all of Isaiah, and one of the most stunning. Isaiah was given a vision of the throne room of God. He saw the Lord, high and lifted up, and he was completely undone.

This is my prayer for us as we study Isaiah – that we would see God high and lifted up, in all His glory. I'm praying that our eyes would be opened, our minds would be expanded, and our hearts would be enlarged by God's majesty and power. And then when God calls us to something, we will respond like Isaiah: "Here I am. Send me."
