Manny Lara has been an HR Professional for nearly 20 years, working mostly in the healthcare industry for large systems like Ascension Healthcare, Mayo Clinic and Advocate Aurora Health.  He's also a co-founder for a staffing technology platform called WorkShift. WorkShift supports the hospitality and services industry by providing a talent labor pool for open shifts in restaurants, bars and event venues. Along with his Co-founder, Bekki Yang, they've recently placed 1st in the Business Services sector for the 2023 Wisconsin Governor's Business Plan contest. In addition to his work in HR, Manny also volunteers as a Board Member and Chair for the Milwaukee Artist Resources Network (MARN) and Art Gallery.
