Starting with iPhones 12 and 13 and M1 Macs, consumers will finally join Apple Authorized Service Providers and Independent Repair Providers as having access to parts, tools and manuals to perform their own commonly serviced hardware repairs. This is huge for the industry and I'm glad that Apple was pushed into a corner to institute this type of program.
