"Who is this?" The people wonder who was riding into Jerusalem that first Palm Sunday. Their praises reveal Jesus as God’s Messiah-King. Yet only days later, those same crowds would cry out, “Crucify!” This contrast is reflected as the joy of Christ’s triumphal entry gives way to the somber remembrance of his suffering and death. Jesus proves to be the Savior we need by accomplishing what needs to be done to save us.
