Ermias Joseph Asghedom or better known professionally as Nipsey Hussle, was an American rapper, entrepreneur, a community activist and much more, But more importantly he was a father first, a good boyfriend and an amazing son. Nipsey grew up in the streets of Los Angeles, California later to find him self in a gang at the age of 14 called

“Rollin 60’s Neighborhood Crips”.

At the Age of 19 his dad, Dawit Asghedom, took him and his brother, Samiel, better know as Blacc Sam, on a trip to Eritrea, East Africa for three months in 2004 which inspired Nipsey to become a community activist.

Nipsey would come back in 2005 and find in his way into the art of rapping by dropping his first mixtape, Slauson Boy Vol.1 to gain local support. By 2009 He Was performing with the likes of artists such as Drake, Snoop Dogg, And Problem. In the time span of 2010 to 2013 He released a series of mixtapes Called The Marathon, The Marathon Continues and TM3:Victory Lap.

Due to Creative collisions with his label at the time he chose to make Victory Lap his debut album.

In the midst of being a community activist and being an entrepreneur nipsey found himself on the big screen in movies and tv shows such as

I Tried (2007) , Love Chronicles Secrets Revealed (2010) , Caged Animal (2010), and

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2015).

In 2013 Nipsey Hussle and actress Lauren London began dating and They had a child together, named Kross Asghedom born on August 31, 2016. They both have children from previous relationships.

After years of delay Nipsey Hussle's debut studio album, Victory Lap was released on February 16, 2018, debuting at #4 on the Billboard 2000

Numerous songs entered the Billboard Hot 100 including songs like Double Up, Last Time I Checc'd and Dedication, marking Nipsey's debut on the chart as a lead artist. Victory Lap was also nominated for a Best Rap Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in 2019.

On March 31, 2019, Nipsey Hussle was shot multiple times in the parking lot of his store, Marathon Clothing, in South Los Angeles at about 3:25 p.m. Nipsey Hussle was hit five times in the torso and once in the head. Two others were wounded in the shooting. All three victims were transported to a hospital, where Hussle was pronounced dead at 33 years old. Upon hearing the news, the Los Angeles mayor and numerous celebrities offered their condolences on social media.
