Simon: “I am flawed beyond belief. I am perfectly imperfect. I am just a human being trying to figure it out one day at a time. That’s my story.”

Interviewer: “All of us, right? We’re going on this journey together, trying to navigate life and all of its up and downs. What’s worked? What hasn’t worked? Being really authentic and vulnerable in sharing so. 

Simon: “Well, I think for so long, I had a mask on. I had a need to be needed. Nobody really got to know the real me. Let’s just like be real and put all the cards on the table.”

Interviewer: “And how is that working out for you?”

Simon: “You know what? I can actually say I feel alive, and I feel free because what I’ve discovered is when you find your spark, you find your joy. When you find your joy, you find your voice. When you find your voice, you find your freedom and it is so liberating to live from the inside out.”
