We’re talking about classic Christmas movie tropes — from the big-city woman with the fancy job who heads to a small town and falls in love, to the precocious kid who somehow knows everything before the adults do, and all the familiar themes in between.

Using the same draft format as our last episode (Christmas Movie Draft), we go back and forth choosing our favorite (and most unavoidable) holiday tropes, building the ultimate made-for-TV Christmas movie as we go.

By the end, we each had a surprisingly solid holiday film on our hands — one we’re pretty sure already exists somewhere in the Christmas movie universe.

A fun, festive listen for anyone who’s ever said, “Wait… haven’t I seen this before?” And yes, there’s more Christmas coming soon. 🎄✨
