It is our honor to collab with Alex's friend and fellow podcaster Ben, who co-hosts his own podcast Reel Beasts on Spotify, as we tackle a movie series that baffles both memelords and actual paleontologists alike - Blue Sky Studios's Ice Age. A couple of us praise the movie's through line emphasizing family as well as some of its humorous scenes, while a couple of us are more critical of the loose plot and characters, its frankly miserable animation quality, and maybe not-as-humorous-as-some-of-us-think scenes. But we all have a good time reminiscing, laughing, and actually learning about the Ice Age movies and their setting, and we cap it off with a special ad-read and Trivia Corner that makes us really, really, really glad that we're just discussing the first and second movies.
