The lads return this week to review all the winners and losers from The Game Awards of 2017! If you missed last week’s show where we went through our votes for each award PLEASE go back and listen to that one first, otherwise you’ll miss the part where we bet the other person a Mother Energy Drink for whoever got the most picks right! Many of the winners were to be expected, especially the Game of the Year winner, and some were quite surprising. Several of the awards gave us pause, and we were left wondering why some received awards and others didn’t. But one think both Aaron and Jordan agree on is that it’s good that Destiny 2 didn’t win a single award (THROW ALL THE SALT AT US YOU LIKE, HATERS!). We also discuss a small portion of gaming news, and the lack of releases this week, including the release of the new PUBG map onto the test servers, the new DLC being released for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and the very needed and welcome changes to the Star Wars Battlefront 2 in-game economy and loot box controversy.
