46: The "Secret" of Preselling

I don't believe there is a "secret" to successful sales calls.

But if there was one, it'd be pre-selling.

Effective pre-selling is getting a potential client into a position where they're at least 80% or more sold on working with you.

They've been taken through the customer journey of Know → Like → Trust, and they're pretty convinced.

The only bit missing is the sales call :-)

We've all been there on sales calls with people who haven't completed the customer journey or still need more time and information. It can feel like an uphill struggle and be really demotivating.

But pre-selling means those kinds of calls can be a thing of the past!
