The laureates, especially the female laureates, of the One Planet Fellowship Program have had to overcome numerous personal and professional challenges throughout their career path.


In this episode, Ikhlass El Berbri, a researcher and lecturer from Morocco, and Molly Okoth, a Kenyan agronomist and PhD student, share their stories and daily lives as women scientists in Africa. From the diagnosis of a tumor to motherhood, grief, and the pursuit of a PhD, they reveal the sacrifices, hopes, and resilience that drive their commitment to scientific research.
