A Cult Following of Gawkers 3/10/03 : 3/13/03

in this vindication
that i'm facing
my thoughts against a wall
there's an impact
falling backwards
just to do it again
the anger never leaves
the comfort never comes
and i'm stuck with empty bags
used lighters and a cult following of gawkers
reading stones
surveying headshots
taking pictures of the place
I once called home
they all have their questions
no doubt many are oblivious
but I can understand how they couldn't see
